Place Matters

(Full length TV Program - episode 104)

An exploration of the conditions, struggles and efforts to improve the lives of Sonoma County's underserved, and the implications for all the county's residents.  Comprised of interviews with local leaders, community organizers, residents and health providers, Place Matters is an exploration of how place has a huge impact on our lives - and our health.  Poor neighborhoods have much lower life expectancy rates than those of middle class and upper class regions of our county.  These negative outcomes can be turned around through innovative programs, but it will require our community coming together and working hand-in-hand to make it work.
