Spring 2026 Cohort

Addie is a senior at Petaluma High School, preparing to attend a 4-year college in the fall as a Media Production major. Though her hours with NorCal Public Media were limited, she had the chance to create many videos for social media with Kelly, the Digital Manager. She also got to collaborate with other departments, working with the news team to convert news stories into social media content and operating with the radio team to transform radio interviews into digital videos. She most prominently created a video promoting the KRCB news team, as well as multiple short videos transforming Shandra Back’s news stories into digital content.

 

During his time as an intern in the TV Production department, Eli quickly became an essential member of the team by supporting all aspects of the production process. From joining shoots to editing short video pieces for air and socials, he took part in several projects that are currently underway. While he has some background in freelance videography and filmmaking, he learned the ropes of working with a collaborative team on broadcast television pieces. Eli's flexibility and enthusiasm for learning allowed him to quickly adapt to the evolving needs of the department and gain hands-on experience in a diverse range of roles.
